BOOKING CLASSES

Yes. To book a class with The Studio, you must create an account via our website or app and purchase a class package or membership. Class packages and memberships are available for purchase via our website and app. Classes may be booked via membership or by individual class. Please note that we are a cashless studio.

Our booking window opens on Sundays at 5pm for that week’s classes (Monday-Sunday).

Our studio features some of the most highly sought-after instructors in San Diego. We recommend that you book your spot in advance. If no spot is available, you may join the waitlist and we will notify you when a spot becomes available. 

All reservations are on a first come, first choice basis. Please arrive early if you want a specific spot.

You can join the waitlist – the earlier you join, the better your chances of getting a spot. You will be charged when joining the waitlist, but your class will be returned if you do not get into the class. 

Waitlist members will be notified via email if a spot opens up in class 12 hours prior to the class. Two hours prior to class, a member of our staff will call or email you to inform you that a spot has opened up. 

If you join the waitlist, we assume you want to join the class. If you no longer want to be on the waitlist, we recommend removing yourself from the waitlist 12 hours prior to class avoid being charged or losing your class credit.

Please make sure to cancel your spot 12 hours prior to your class to receive your class credit back. Cancellations and no-shows after the late cancel window will incur a $15 charge for unlimited monthly members or the loss of a class for class package members. 

You can cancel your Waitlist spot from the app or website. If you join the waitlist, we assume you want to join the class. If you no longer want to be on the waitlist, we recommend removing yourself from the waitlist 12 hours prior to class to avoid being charged or losing your class credit.

We release spots to the waitlist five minutes before class, so please arrive and sign in at least five minutes before class. There will be no entry allowed 5 minutes after class has begun.

Unfortunately, we cannot allow same-day class switches. If you are not sure if you will make your scheduled class time, please cancel prior to the late-cancel window.

GETTING TO CLASS

Please make sure to cancel your spot 12 hours prior to your class to receive your class credit back. Cancellations and no-shows after the late cancel window will incur a $15 charge for unlimited monthly members or the loss of a class for class package members.

Bankers Hill has ample street parking surrounding the studio. Parking is free on the blocks surrounding The Studio (3rd, 2nd, and 6th street) and metered parking is available on 5th and 4th Streets.

Please consider parking time when coming to the Studio during rush hour.

TAKING CLASSES

Every student must sign a waiver prior to taking the first class. Waivers are available through our app or website when you sign up, or when you arrive for the first time. If you plan to sign a waiver in The Studio prior to your first class, please arrive early enough to do so.

With a few exceptions, we supply all the equipment you’ll need for class. See below:

Yoga mats are required for yoga classes. You may rent one at the studio for $2.
Quality athletic shoes are required for all kettlebell, weights, TRX, and cardio-based classes.
High heels are recommended for rock heels classes.

More information on class specifics will be included in your pre-class email. Please read this email thoroughly.

All classes are 50 minutes in duration. Please plan to stay for the full 50 minutes so as to maximize your experience and reduce disturbance to fellow class members.

The Studio seeks to create the best experience for all members. Please note that no phones or recording devices are allowed in any Studio classes. We understand that emergencies happen. We are happy to hold your phone at the front desk for those expecting emergency calls.

Yes, we sell water for $3 per bottle. We also have a filtered water fountain available and encourage you to bring your own water bottle.

We have changing rooms. We also have cubbies located in our fully staffed lobby.

We have two bathrooms and one shower at The Studio. Showers are first-come, first-serve. Please consider your fellow Studio members when utilizing the shower and shower efficiently to allow other members waiting to use our amenities.

No, but all of our classes are open to all fitness levels. Our instructors are trained to give modifications throughout each class so you can tailor the workout to your ability.

Yes. Make sure to clear it first with your doctor and let your instructor know before class.

Yes. We recommend you check with your doctor before and let your instructor know you’re sweating for two.

You must be 14 years old to take class if accompanied by an adult. You must be 16 years old to attend a class alone.
